we dare you, wonder marks fracture's first full length-effort fully integrating cyclorama's sebastien laas into the mix.

with the additional guitarist and more straight-forward song dynamics, you could get a glimpse of what to expect from their later sound evolution.

From psychedelic rock, to shoegaze and krautrock, all bigger influences of the two musicians are melted into some kind of sensual amalgam of noise where occasional curiosities - the slightly bombastic oriental grandeur of the vibrantly trippy "dennis & charlie", a song inspired by US criminal charles manson or the retro-future feel of the exclusively electronic "sixtysix arp"- cheer up the mostly dark and freaky atmosphere.

The almost 8 minutes-clocking "fridge power" has later become the bands' most loved and most hated live-track. At one half of their gigs as a three-men-band, the live guitars mostly scream over-distorted but elegantly around the hundreds of laptop-layers to create and trance-like crescendo, where drummer mike tock hammers its klaus dinger-like patterns into some kind of swirling noise extravaganza. The other half tends to be a disaster. Laptop break-ups, electricity or sound problems, angry venue-owners, yes, even the police happened to interfere with their ambitious concert-closer.
